Anger Management Therapy

When a person has difficulty managing their anger, everything seems to happen so fast, like a car accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour.  The reason for this is that over many years responding in anger has become a habit that occurs almost automatically.  Anger Management Therapy (AMT) is an evidence-based treatment that generally lasts around 8 sessions and can help you break this habit by learning tools to:

  • become more aware of rising anger

  • slow things down and give you a choice in how you respond to situations

  • manage anger before it leads to problems
