Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression

Because negative thoughts and doing fewer activities are so connected, it can be helpful to have skills to address both these parts of depression.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Depression is an evidence-based treatment that does just this.  Treatment generally lasts around 8 to 12 sessions, during which you’ll learn tools to help you gradually bring more enjoyable and meaningful activities back into your day, and skills to hone in on your thinking and challenge the thoughts that are contributing to depression.
