Prolonged Exposure Therapy

PTSD can be relentless in taking away parts of a person’s life, like going to stores, watching certain movies, or getting close in relationships. Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD designed to help you reclaim your life from PTSD. It generally lasts between 8 and 12 sessions and involves recounting memories of traumatic events and gradually approaching things you have been avoiding, including people, places, and activities.
