Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety

Have you ever felt butterflies in your stomach before playing a sport or performing in front of other people?  If you pushed forward, you might have noticed that as you got used to the situation and learned you were capable of handling it the butterflies went away.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety is based on the same idea and can assist with panic, worry about social situations, specific fears, and generalized anxiety about many things.  Over the course of around 8 to 12 sessions you’ll learn tools to help you manage anxiety, approach the things you've been avoiding, and feel better and less controlled by your fears.
