Depression
When a person is depressed, they often experience lots of negative thoughts and do fewer enjoyable and meaningful activities. This decrease in activities can make the negative thoughts worse, which can then lead to doing less activities, and can cause a downward spiral that makes a person feel overwhelmed, stuck, and hopeless. My approach to treating depression involves working together to help you learn tools and skills to break out of this cycle, and to take steps towards feeling better and achieving your goals.
